Whether you're browsing for a special antique or design assistance,
Dovecote in Westport, Connecticut, has you covered.

Country Home, February 2003 -
DOVECOTE, a new specialty store in the quintessential new England town of Westport, Connecticut,
brings everything for the home-decorating enthusiast under one soaring roof. "You can come in here
and decorate your rooms from top to bottom," says co-owner Sarah Kaplan, a former buyer for Neiman
Marcus and Barney's.

She's not exaggerating, either. Within a landmark former opera house just off Westport's main street,
you'll find 2,500 square feet offering custom slipcovers by Shabby Chic, 1960's-era Knoll coffee tables,
hundreds of designer fabrics, and cottage bedding by English designer Cath Kidston.

In addition, there's a well-edited selection of fine antiques and contemporary art and photography to
finish off your space. For extra-special touches, consult one of the design specialists or the in-house florist.
