Metropolitan Home, May/June 1997 -
Great Jones Home, a downtown store opened by two stylish New York emigres,
Sarah Kaplan (a former Barney's buyer) and Robert Aldrich (from Armani)
specializes in products with a "genteel and humble character." Their 19th-
and 20th-century American antiques -- from East Coast and Midwest flea markets,
auctions and estate sales -- mix with down-filled, slipcovered furniture with
a faded aesthetic. There are also vintage garden wares and chic pet gear.
